This Spring, North Branch Ranch added five beautiful calves to the herd, including Rupert, Nymeria, Poppy, Drummer, and Akutan. They have been growing up strong with their mamas and getting more and more adventurous. Rupert is their fearless leader and shows them where the best grass can be found - usually just under the divider fence, which is part of our rotational grazing strategy. Sometimes, the grass really is greener on the other side. Not to worry though, they always stick with the herd but with full and happy bellies full of only the best grass!
