Custom Breeds and Finishing available. Some folks want to be a little more involved in the process. We are experimenting with a custom beef model where customers choose the breed and finishing method. We then send them updates on their animal and have them out to the ranch to see and work with the herd.
GRASS FED BEEF
All cattle are raised on pasture. We are currently finishing some on carrots and manglewurzel as was done during the preindustrial era. These root veggies impart a sweeter taste to the beef. This method is used in Wolfgang Puck's restaurants and after one taste you will understand why. Custom cuts are provided by a local USDA inspected butcher.
